Renumber Points
This option will renumber the points in the selected range to start from the ‘New Start Point’ number.
Select Points/Layers
You can select points by layer to be renumbered if required.
See Points/Layers for mor information.
Start Point
Enter the Starting point number in the range of points to be renumbered
End Point
Enter the Ending point number in the range of points to be renumbered
New Start Point
Enter the first point number to be used for the renumbered points, each unused point number after
this will be used sequentially.
Compress Points
Tick this box to remove any gaps in the point number sequence.
Thus points 100,103,105 might be renumbered to points 1,2,3
Leave the box un-ticked to change the point numbers by an ‘offset’ amount.
Thus points 100,103,105 might be renumbered to points 1,3,5
The program automatically adjusts all strings and text relying on points.
